Learning Is Something to Treasure
Thanks so much!
DeleteI love your video! I've been strongly considering using some of the basic concepts of WBT, and this really helped me see that it can be useful and easy to do.
ReplyDeleteDo the gestures have to be done in a certain way or can they just be what comes to your mind? Do you plan out what gestures you really want to do?
Also, do you use the scoreboard?
Thank you so much!
Miss A's Kindergarten
I just make up my own gestures. I think about it a little ahead of time, but some just come to me as I go. I haven't done the scoreboard, but I have plans to. I have seen it before in someone's youtube video. Thanks for reminding me of that!
DeleteThat's good to know! I've never tried the WBT style, so I love your advice! You're welcome. I think the scoreboard seems like a fun way to get the students motivated to follow expectations.
DeleteWhat do you do when/if kids are purposely being silly to get attention during the class, yes?
I loved the video!! I like the idea of having the kids teach each other.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!

I am absolutely INTO WBT. It's a lot of fun! I haven't been too good at the Teach OK but hope to be better this year. Class Yes has been a favorite. Whenever people walk into my room, I feel like that is one of the most impressive things to happen! It's amazing how quick the students respond to it. Thanks for sharing the video and being brave. Turned out great :)
