About Me

I'm a 46 year old Christian that has been blessed with a wonderful hubby, two awesomely talented grown sons, a beautiful daughter-in-love, a most precious two-year-old granddaughter, and a sweet yellow Lab named Maggie Bleu.
 
Teaching is my calling in life!  I have taught preschool {9 yrs.}, third grade {14 yrs.}, and will move to 2nd grade for the 2012~13 school year.  I am passionate about teaching, creating things for my classroom, and sharing with others.  I am an advocate of "whole brain" teaching and kids taking ownership of their education.

 My hubby and I married on Valentine's Day 1987.

This was us then.

...and 25 years later.

We are blessed with 2 awesome sons who love the Lord. 

We have a beautiful daughter~in~love, and are blessed to call her "ours"!

We have the most precious granddaughter.
We have so much fun together!

Let me tell you, there is nothing like being a Gramma!  

Our oldest son isn't married yet, but has been dating a sweet girl for a while.  Although we consider her "ours", we hope they make it official some day soon!  

And then, there's our "baby", Maggie.  She is so sweet, and smart, and oh-so-funny!  She makes us smile [and laugh] everyday!  

She's just a little bit spoiled.

Ok, a LOT a bit spoiled!  LOL 

I'm a pixel/graphic artist on the side.  I love creating clip art to use in my lessons.  I also have a HUGE passion for decorating our cozy home with anything and everything that is vintage/antique...and I especially adore Shabby Chic!  If I find and item that has chippy paint, then it stands a great chance of going home with me!
